Federal agent accused of firing gun at bar customer
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) – A Colorado Drug Enforcement Administration agent is accused of firing his government-issued handgun at a man in a bar in Bozeman while he was intoxicated. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that Ryan Donahue, 32, of Parker, Colorado, has been charged with assault with a weapon. Donahue first appeared in Gallatin County court on Tuesday, where his bail was set at $ 150,000. He did not file a plea. Court records indicate that Donahue and others were leaving a bar in Bozeman at 2 a.m. on Monday when Donahue allegedly pulled out his Glock 17 handgun and put it on or near the man’s neck. Passers-by managed to seize the weapon.
